During the maximum summer heat, roughly from June to September, the Collodion Wet Plates portraits activity may be suspended due to temperatures. The Collodion in particular can’t stand the heat and, in order not to compromise the final yield of the work, it is preferable to wait for the right season.
Platinum and Palladium, on the contrary, works very well also with the summer heat. The prints, in fact, tend to acquire a pleasant warm tone.
